Simufact Engineering, a global software and service company for manufacturing process simulation and Schuler SMG, a manufacturer of hydraulic-press systems and forming machines have formed a technology alliance.

The main purpose of the partnership is the adaption of Simufact's simulation programs to Schuler's hydraulic-press systems. With this agreement in place, companies that purchase a Schuler press can also purchase process-specific, integrated software with which they can map and optimize the manufacturing process in their computer.

Simufact software will be adjusted to Schuler machines to simulate multistage forming processes within the process chain.
