Simufact Additive is the new member of the product family of Simufact which developed for simulating additive manufacturing (3D printing) processes.

It is possible to calculate distortions and residual stresses on the part after manufacturing, removal of support structures and heat treatment such as stress relieving or hot isostatic pressing (HIP)

By using simulation technology part orientation and support structures can be optimized to obtain desired geometry without performing expensive try-outs.
